2022-07-05 14:02:14 +0000 UTC View PostWhiskey isn’t normally used for fun shots, but if someone wants a shot, my goto is a flavored crown! For example, crown apple & cranberry is called a Washington Apple🍎 Give it a try next time you’re out for some drinks🥳
2022-07-03 13:22:02 +0000 UTC View PostI’m more of a tequila girl 😌…however, learning many different types of beer is mandatory as a bartender💪🏼 Do you have a favorite beer? 🍺

2022-06-29 15:20:07 +0000 UTC View PostEver had a margarita? Ever had shot where the rim was salted or had sugar on it? The bartender used one of these! A cocktail rimmer gives us the ability to add a little accessory to any drink or shot 🥰
2022-06-26 14:30:04 +0000 UTC View PostIf you like mojitos or drinks with a little natural fruit or herbs infused, you need a muddler 😌 Muddlers help smash the fruit and herbs into the shaker so that when you pour the liquor and juice into the shaker, the flavors can fuse together and create an amazing cocktail🍹 What’s your favorite?
2022-06-24 13:30:07 +0000 UTC View PostArm bands are one of my favorite accessories as a bartender! It’s a convenient way to keep my bar key on me at all times so I can get your drinks to you quickly☺️ I also hate messing up my 💅🏼 so watch as I use my bar key to open cans quickly as well🥰
2022-06-22 13:02:25 +0000 UTC View PostBottoms up! 🎶 Pour spouts are important for making sure the proper amount of liquor is put into each drink or shot; if too much or too little is poured it can have an affect on how the drink or shot tastes..not always a good affect either😳🥴😂
2022-06-20 13:02:24 +0000 UTC View PostStrainers are a must have for bartending. Whether you’re making a large amount of shots at once or muddling fruit/mint for a drink, the strainer and shaker are like ying & yang. If you just pour multiple liquors into a cup or shot glass, the lack of mixing causes the flavors to be different than if they were mixed in a shaker and strained into a cup. Tip: If you don’t have a strainer, you can use a plastic cup.

Skip the hassles of bar crowds & waiting on bartenders, do it yourself💪🏼 Rose gold is my favorite color, so this is my set 🥰
2022-06-16 16:52:37 +0000 UTC View PostBitter or Sweet?🤔 Bitters is often used to balance out flavors in a drink, while Grenadine is often used to make a drink sweeter or more colorful. Did you know Bitters originally was developed and used as patent medicines, but now is used in cocktails? Manhattan, Martini, Old Fashioned to name a few. Grenadine is commonly used in a Tequila Sunrise, Dirty Shirley, Roy Rodgers and many more.
2022-04-21 13:01:47 +0000 UTC View PostPucker up! 😘 It’s time to talk about Pucker flavors! Puckers are a line of fruit flavored liqueurs that are often used in fruity drinks or shots. Have you ever had a pink starburst shot? A Johnny Vegas? Or an Appletini? The bartender most likely used a Pucker as one of the ingredients. You ever wanted to try a shot that taste like your favorite candy? Often times it will need a pucker mixed in🥰 My favorite is Watermelon, do you have a favorite?
2022-04-20 05:29:39 +0000 UTC View PostWell whichever you choose, I’m pouring it on another must have used for bartending—a bar mat. Until I started bartending, I had no idea just how messy & sticky alcohol is!🥴 Bars often use these to catch all the excess liquids spilled or sprayed during the mixing/pouring of drinks and shots. This makes cleaning up the utilized area much easier afterwards. Bar mats should be soaked and cleaned after each use.
2022-04-11 02:28:33 +0000 UTC View PostSure, making drinks is fun, but a lot of bartenders love tryin to learn the tricks to add to the show! Practice makes perfect and I love practicing. With this trick, it’s all in the flick of the wrist🤣
2022-04-11 02:16:30 +0000 UTC View PostYou might notice occasionally that not just liquor gets served with your drink🧐 Garnishes are not only used to make the drink look more appealing, but depending on the drink, garnishes are used for flavor! Mojitos are a great example. Mint is used to make it look AND taste great 😌 Other common garnishes are Lemons, Limes, Oranges, Olives, Cherries and sometimes Celery.
2022-04-11 01:57:55 +0000 UTC View PostDid somebody say Bloody Mary?😋 Bloody Mary’s are a common beverage drank for mornings or brunch; they are 1 of my favorites! They can be as simple as vodka & Bloody Mary mix, shaken, then poured over ice…or you can use vodka, tomato juice, your own mix of spices and top it with as many food garnishes as you’d like! Often times you can find restaurants who load their Bloody Mary’s up so high that the drink + food garnishes IS the brunch😂🤤How do you like yours?
2022-04-11 01:46:41 +0000 UTC View PostMixing alcohol is not the same as seasoning your food🙅🏼♀️ We can go without the measuring cups for dinner but sometimes measuring is needed when making drinks. While high volume bars are known to free pour, a lot of craft cocktail bars or high end bars are known for using “jiggers” to measure their liquor pours. Jiggers help make sure you pour the exact amount of each ingredient so that every mixed drink tastes perfect each time!
2022-04-11 01:44:20 +0000 UTC View PostMixers are a big part of bartending! They make it fun and allow drinks to taste a lot better😅 The most commonly used mixers are juices, energy drinks, soda, sour mixes, seltzer water and tonic. Tonic and Seltzer water, also know as club soda, adds some carbonation to the liquor taste, while all the other mixers diminish the taste of alcohol. My favorite mixers are Pinapple juice & Redbull, what’s yours?🤔
2022-04-11 01:36:46 +0000 UTC View PostWhen it comes to bartending, the 2 most important tools needed for high volume are shakers and bar keys -aka- bottle openers! Bottle openers are helpful to not only save time, but also save my hands from getting cut up & becoming rough. Shakers are helpful for not only mixing & chilling drinks, but also for large shot orders😅
